hi all any ideas on tt landlord grain recipie gw recipie states marris otter or would it be better using golden promise i have done the recipie with marris it was good any bennifit from golden promise thanks lee :)

cheers wonkey not sure were on the same lines here I might not of explained myself propely I want to know if you can benefit with putting hops in the mash tun with the grains before the boil gheers lee

hi all been given a wilkos out of date velvet stout ,first of all i will change the yeast but has anyone any ideas to perk this kit up i am going to buy some lme not sure light or dark will buy if there is any ideas thought of a dark american got shit loads of american hops , also thought about brew...

hi turbo y not boil 25g of amarillo for 15 mins then dry hop 25g amarillo that could turn out quite nice but all depends on your taste :)

hi turbo not over sure but 50g of target looks a lot to me , i would probably half that but someone might tell you different [by the way what kit are you using :)

hi mate the aroma is as good as the fruity taste got a good pine flavour typical american hops but i did dry hop mine for a week :wink: will be brewing this again [by the way a kegged beer tastes far better than bottled especialy hand pump with nitreogen ] have a look on the forum for sierra nevada ...

hi matt this is my opinion the abv is what it is [ when its done its done ] it comes out what ever it will be , sorry to sound blunt but i never take a hydrometer reading ive never been that anal about matters . as for the hops cascade 50 or 60 g 15min boil sounds good another little hop tea of mayb...

hi all have brewed kits and couple of years of ag now i am intrested in mead ; 1st question do i need any type of fermenting vessel [or is it better brewed in a demijohn ] 2 nd question what yeast ? 3rd question nice recipie plz cheers lee :) oh and brewing temps thanks

i bought glass bottles never sterelised ive only ever washed them in hot tap water i must have used them five or six times with no problems , when i use a bottle i rinse with hot water then fill them up put away [ flip top bottles ]
