Sunday i bottled this, 32 bottles of 0.5L and three of 0.33!!now, the hard time....the wait..... in ten day i will try it for carbonation, then put it in the cold until july.... tried from the fermenter, its nice, malty and bitter, will be a refreshing pint for portuguese summer.....

yesterday i checked the gravity, 1013, spot on where i wanted!! This yeast its realy a beast.... tried the sample, a nice malty flavor and a nice biterness in the end!!

Rui, looks great! Can anyone tell me what it is that you have over the fv when letting the wort run in. I have so much trub in my beers at the moment that I need a filter like that. How do you I clean/sanitise it? Thanks its a kind of fabric that I use as BIAB or in this case as filter.....i do not...

maris otter, some crystal 60L, torrified wheat, OG 1048, 37 IBUS, English yeast and you have a nice pint using those two hops!! you cant fail!!

actually, its not so warm here, at the moment...14ºC at the moment....and cloudy...... but for me its always a moment for a stout :D and i will have more beer avaiable at the party, that people can choose what they want?

yesterday in the morning i kegged this batch! Ended up with a FG of 1017, giving 4,81% ABV. it is carbonating now, and will be in time for my birthday party in 3 weeks! i will have two beers running in my kegerator! this stout and a Mango APA that i made for the ladies!! for the shitty lager drinker...

this is tanins, they come from the dark malts, you use dehusked roasted barley, to avoid that!! or use simple grain bill: 70% pale malt, 20% flaked barley and 10% roasted barley. With this bill, you cant go wrong!! OG:1046, Fg:1010 and 45IBUs!!
