Refractometer

Hey any of u guys use a refractometer. Purchased one recently but can't seem to get the hang of using it. Seems fine with starting gravities and measures the same as my hydrometer but at the other end it always seems to read so much higher. Can anyone explain that to me or am I missing something her...

Hi there
Any of u guys use Brewmate. I do and I think its a great brewing tool. One question though for the experts. What's the Balance Value all about. Don't know. If anyone can explain Ill be really grateful

I got a 10 kilowatt controller and a 3.5 kilowatt element from ebay. As Ive already sais over 4 years now all is fine. Hope this helps.
