Re: Recipe with just Fuggles & EKG?

I made a similar brew last time but with challenger at the end. Goldings mid. Just swapped them round this time. I'm useless with computers really but beersmith is so easy to use. Once you've set up dead space for your set up it's simple.

Re: return to brewing, choc stout

I soaked my nibs in dark rum for a week then lobbed them in the FV like a dry hop. Worked but was far from mega chocolatey.

Water profile

Right I've just got my water report from wallybrew. Cheers for that.

So I'm going to brew a pale English ale but wound like the malt aspect of it to show slightly more I think.

What would be a good profile to aim at?

Re: brewtech ss conical

I don't have one ( yet ) but I was wondering about doing this also as I'm going to be upping my volumes so this would be far easier than messing about moving liquid to other containers.

Re: Recipe with just Fuggles & EKG?

I my last brew was fuggels bittering, goldings @30 challenger @10. Worked a treat. So going to swap it round this time with goldings @10 in a pale ale. Along the lines of summer lightning for GW book.

Re: Show Us Yer Kit

Damn Orlando, that's magnificent. What size are the kettles/hlt/mash tun out of interest? Where did you get those from? The two temp controlled conicals look awesome too! Thanks, glad you like it, thankfully I do too, bit more than a fivers worth of kit there. 70/70/50. I brew 25 litres most...

Re: Electric.

Beer making nirvana. Had a sparky round today to give me a price on what I need. See what I need to find to make this happen.

Re: Electric.

I'm told a separate 32a circuit would be needed. Bit id also be wanting to run a circuit for lighting and maybe a couple of other plugs.

Re: Brewdog/Cloudwater NEIPA

I've only used it once. I drop temp to below 80. Run wort through it then through chiller and into FV

Re: Brewdog/Cloudwater NEIPA

Mine is mashing as we speak. Going to put 41g mosaic in at flame out and see what that does. Slightly more than recipe says. May then drop temp after 30 mins and run through some citra in hop rocket on way to FV.
