Give this a read:

If you are really wanting to utilize this malt, I would recommend the mash proceed at 50 - 60 - 70°C with 1/2 hour protein rests.

Re: bottle advice?

i'm half tempted to throw em unless anyone has advice on giving them a good clean? i need a product that will neutralise the oily film left behind from the cleaner. Get yourself something like this and give them a good jetting with HOT water. https://www.amazon.co.uk/Faucet-Carboyand-Beer-Bottle-Wa...

Re: F♡(#1|\|g technology

The light comes on when it's powered. I've had it for many years. Works perfectly when powered. :) I was wondering if this Inkbird would fit your needs. https://www.amazon.com/Inkbird-Itc-308-Temperature-Controller-Thermostat/dp/B011296704/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1482613069&sr=8-1-spons&keywords=ink...

Re: Filtering Wine

I can see your concern regarding possible oxidation, I have not used the Vinbrite before however have you given consideration to purging your FV with CO2 prior to the filtration process?

Re: Good dried yeast for belgian styles?

I have had good luck with both Belle Saison and Fermentis B256/abbaye. But looking for an alternative for my next belgian project. Perhaps a dubbel, another single or a chimay blue clone. Any suggestions? With real experiences too - I can read manufacturers product descriptions, but I want to know ...

Re: Bells 2 hearted

The flavour is indeed impacted by the use of MO as opposed to 2 row, so if what you are after is a real clone then 2 row is the way to proceed if possible. Granted, the MO produces a wort with a fuller flavour to be sure.
