Contacted them on the online help and they have directed me to an online form to fill in, is this what you did ?
I managed to find the online form but don't recall exactly where it was but, yes, that's the way I asked them the question

Want to get sorted also :D I just used the online contact and asked them if it was permissable to use an emersion cooler connected to a garden hose for home brewed beer. Hose pipe ban

Hi all I was curious if it was permitted to use my immersion chiller connected to the hose in the yard so I emailed united utilities to ask. They took my enquiry as an exemption request. I am now officially allowed to chill my wort without the worry (?) of being nabbed by the water usage police :win...

Re: Keg Hopper

Just a word of warning. There's two versions of the keg hopper, one with mesh in the removable lid and the other versions that just has holes in the lid. Unfortunately mine is without the mesh so the pellets will escape. Regarding the amount, sorry I can't help. Can't remember the amount of leaf I f...

Splitting 5 gallon kit into two fermenters

Hi all Circumstances dictate that I may need to minimise my lifting of heavy weights, so............... Has anyone ever split a 5 gallon kit into two full size fermenters? Including splitting the sachets of yeast, stabiliser and finings. Not sure about making the whole batch up in one with a tap whi...

Re: Mangrove Jack Hop Spider

I used to have one but returned it as I found too much debris was getting through the 800 mesh. Swapped it for tho 200 micron one that Rob sells. Was worried at first that 200 would be too fine but I've not had any problem with it and it catches most of the debris. I've even removed the bazooka filt...

Re: new to wine making

Generally speaking the more you spend on a kit, the better the results. I've not long started down the wine route myself and have done a couple of the cheaper kits to get a feel of the process. They were a bit rough to start with but did mellow a bit in time. The mid range ones do give much better r...
