Re: Fuuuuuuuuuu......Scary.

Great sparky thread! Why do you need a fused spur? Do you think a ring circuit of 16A sockets are fused down from the MCB protecting that circuit? There is nothing wrong with a ring circuit using the socket types in question. Or a mixture of both. Hand tools direct from the factory complete with CE ...

Re: Fuuuuuuuuuu......Scary.

Why? Domestic sockets are rated at 13A so i don't understand the logic. Its nothing to do with that anyway, you have a maximum potential fault current on electrical installations. All fixtures and fittings will be rated well over anything a domestic dwelling will ever see. So no new circuit will be ...

Re: Fuuuuuuuuuu......Scary.

A graphic lesson in using quality plugs and sockets and keeping the pins clean. I fired up my old bruheat boiler a few months back to boil down a couple of gallons of the last mash runnings as an experiment. The plug (with tarnished pins) was too hot to touch after about 30 minutes. If in doubt, go...

Re: Creamy Stout - success!

How? Beer gas @20PSI. Corni keg, maxi 110 chiller and a tap with a restrictor plate in mounted on a home made tower.

The tower and beer lines are cooled by the recirc system on the chiller.

I serve ditch's stout with nitro/co2 gas and a stout faucet. It knocks the crap out of Guinness.

Brew Dog Punk IPA clone.

Is there anyway I can do a Punk IPA style brew with a kit and dry hopping?

Any suggestions on which kit and hops?

Thanks.
