Carb stones

The gas tube is 8mm so i was going to put a JG fitting on with a length of tube. And yes i did think it was a typo as it makes no sense to force the beer through the stone. That would just produce nothing but foam and block up IMO. No need to invert the keg then? Yes you could weld one in the lid bu...

Issues with lager out of a Corni

Keep the pressure on as the beer will absorb the co2. It will not over carb if you set the pressure to a set temp to achieve the volume of carb you want.

Hmm, they don't sound very practical then....

Maybe i could try just a bog standard plastic aquarium diffuser do you think? As they are going to live permanently in kegs.

Thanks very much.

I was going to put it in the corny to help the beer gas a little. I found a guide that suggested it helped with the nitrogen on US site.

Beer line cleaner

I clean my cornys out with oxi clean and blow that out the keg through the lines with co2 every time I change the keg. Then the same with starsan which i leave in the keg under a bit of pressure.

Will i really need line cleaner aswell?

No need to use them if you use water through a carbon filter (water gem) then?

Ive just tee'd into the one which filters the fridge water.

Like kev said, you will need to change the gauge really to one that reads 0-30 psi.

They cost about 5-6 pounds off ebay.
