Re: Do I need a 2 step mash for Leffe Blonde
Can't answer your question but let us now how it turns out, was thinking of trying that one myself, it's one of a few from the malt Miller that has some instructions about how to go about making the kit, that place does my head in some of the kits don't even tell you the amount a kit makes let alone...

Re: New set-up - Barbs vs Push fit?
I've got perlicks with flow control using 3/8 beer line, really needed the flow control at first but once you get your head round the psi to temp physics you don't need flow control, it's satisfying when you learn the sweet spot

Re: New set-up - Barbs vs Push fit?
This is a great question and something I have been mulling as well, I wonder if the difference is between those with much colder temperatures (lager boys!), using the fridges/freezers up and down in temperatures (e.g. for cold crashing) and causing brittleness or if there are a lot of low quality f...

Re: New set-up - Barbs vs Push fit?
I made my first kegerator about 10 months ago, spent a fortune on John guest fittings but found them very unreliable the fingers on the collets kept braking off, so swapped most of them out to barbed fittings except the connection off the co2 regulator as I use that connection a lot for force carbin...

Re: Kegerator kit from Keg Kingdom
After cold crashing for a week at 1 degree c, I transfere to corney keg and force carb at 30 psi for exactly 6 minutes with a gentle rocking back and forth, I would guess by then the beer in the keg is around 3 degree c, this gets the beer perfectly carbed and ready to serve.

At the moment I will go with what kev888 has said about adding the hops as I have little knowledge of what hops do what.

I was under the impression I was buying tried and tested kits from the malt Miller but having thought about it the authors could be as green as me with no idea of how to create a good recipe ](*,) ](*,) ](*,) the very least the malt Miller could do is make them add all the info for the recipe before...

Vague instructions
Hi all, I've been buying all grain mash kits from the homebrewcompany for a while now, it's made my life so easy as the kits have all the instructions inside eg. Water amounts, hop additions etc. Because of postage cost from Ireland going up I now have purchased 4 different all grain mash kits from ...
