No the threads on the coupler usually with John Guest fittings. MM sells posts with 5/8 threads which fit the Sankey couplers that he sells.

MM sankeys have 5/8 couplings most ebay sankeys have 1/2 couplings so check first with Rob

Not in contact much with anything and not so much airspace to allow air movement or convection currents. If you are putting things in a box ...

St Austell bottle condition with the same yeast, unless things have changed very recently. I have used Proper Job on several occasions to "borrow" their yeast.
