Re: Cheap Gadget that really works

Cheap Gadget that really works

When pouring beer from my keg I was getting a lot of head and had to jug it, and then pour into a glass. I tried using a part of a turkey baster attached to the tap of my kktt. It pours a better pint and as the head is smoother, tastes better too. The baster cost me £2.25 You just use the tube not ...

Re: Sticky Muntons. Grrrrr. help please.

Hi shandypants. Looks like I may have a similar problem with a Smugglers. Its been in the Fv for 13 days now and its only just dipped below 1020. It started at 1052 and bubbled awat very nicely for about 2 days. after 7 days it was at 1025 and appeared to have stuck. I roused it and waited. at 10 da...

Re: King Keg Problem.

Hi Dave,
Thanks for the advise. Opened the keg today to check and Yep the float was on its side, I mistakenly thought it would always find its own way up. I've adjusted it and it now looks better.
This afternoon I started my second brew. A Brupack Colne valley bitter. Its now in the FV.

Got the Scottish Heavy can. Kegged it into a King keg top tap. I think the beer in the keg is slightly ...
