Chiller problem
I've got a small chiller/cooler much like a Maxi 310 but for two products. It's been working fine since I bought it (off of someone on here in fact) but now it just will not start up. There's power to the recirculation pump, but the compressor etc is doing nothing. Is there anything obvious I could ...

Re: 6.7mm tubing
Thanks Ian, but I'm trying to make a small valve for my cubitainers so they can let off gas in their own time
I've got a ball bearing pushing a spring inside a piece of tubing. The 6.7 mm tube needs to fit very snugly inside this tube as the ball bearing closes off the gas when pushed against it.

Re: 6.7mm tubing
Yes, connectors or just short lengths of rigid tubes would do.

6.7mm tubing
Anyone know where I can get some tubing with an outside diametre of 6.7mm? I need it to fit very snugly inside some tubing of the same interior size.

Re: EWL replacement cylinder
Yes, thanks. I think that’s where I saw them before, but now you have to ‘contact’ them to ask about the cylinders etc for some reason. I’ve done that so we’ll see if they get back to me.

EWL replacement cylinder
Last year I'm sure I found a site that sold just the EWL cylinder (with a water jacket) on it's own, not a whole handpump. Can anyone point me in the right direction? I know II didn't dream it!

I prime my bag-in-boxes. Just keep them on their backs and open the tap when necessary to vent excess gas.

Yes, just end caps with a 1.5 mm hole drilled in them.

Re: DIY bottle washer
Thanks! Yes the copper was relatively expensive, but I couldn't find plastic pipe small enough to get into the neck of the bottles. I also use the same set-up (minus the copper) to wash my cubitainers. I unplug the copper tubes and then fit one plastic tube coming up from the middle that the cubi si...

DIY bottle washer
As we all have more time on our hands than usual, I thought I'd take the drudgery out of bottle washing by making my own bottle washer. It can do 24 at a time and works very well. It's powered by a garden pump that sits in a reservoir underneath and is just connected by hosepipe :) . https://a.imge....

Re: Everything beer engine, polypins, cask and questions
Following on from my post about polypins: Polypins are NOT impervious to gases and the beer will go totally flat and oxidise - beer stored in polypins has a shelf life of about 4-5 weeks Well, I hate to disagree, but I have been using polypins (cubitainers) for several years and I can assure you th...
