Re: Hop Screen Designs
If you find the holes are to big you could easily wrap sone 30#mesh around your design easily. This woul stop any hops/seeds/bits getting through.

How do you drain from your pot? Side or bottom?
I just re designed mine. See:
viewtopic.php?f=6&t=39958
In there is the filter I made. I drain from the bottom.

Re: BlackLabAle mkII Build
Now I'm up and running again the next step Is to get temp control up via PID controllers. ( I Think )
I'd like auto control of the HLT to know the temp of the MT also thinking about the FV too.
But here I'm stumped. Help n advice appreciated.

Re: BlackLabAle mkII Build
Its the march may pump letting it down. It basically I's pumping from the boiler through 10m of coil then up another meter into the FV. It trickles out.... I'm sure if it came outtwice as fast I'd still be able to cool it.

Cheers Scotty/Garth To do this i needed a better filter first because the boiled wort would need to pass thru 8mm pipe and the hops would block this if they werent filtered out. Cheers Aleman This is the genius of my filter The Parts http://w...
