Well the Polyclar was a mare to try and mix even after 15 mins stirring it was still clumpy. Resultant bottles have haze even at room temperature so wont use that stuff again. The mash schedules was Mash in at 38C,75 Mins @ 64C and then 10 Mins @ 78C. My Wyeast was still going after 6 days; it eventually fell about day 12, take a look at my earlier post for the krausen ring still hanging join even after crash cooling. What temp did you mash at?

Do you use Irish Moss in the boil. I find that when I forget to put it in my beer is hazzy. Generally I do not have a problem with US05 and it stays crystal clear after a couple of days in the bottle and after a couple of weeks when it is put in the beer fridge. 3 grams or Irish Moss into the boil ...

All my mashes so far have been at 66 degrees for 90 mins with a 10 minute 78 degree mash out and sparge (Braumeister)
EDIT: Only my first 2 brews were extract, I then built my own 3V system and have been all grain for 10 brews; the last 6 being in a 2015 Braumeister.
