Slight crystal
Hersbrucker hallertau
Near end of boil
Strisselspalt at end
Fermented for minimum 7 days @ 12oc
Top pressure at 0.15 bar which is nothing!
Protein stand at 52 oc for 30 mins then mash for 1 hour
Munich yeast would probably be best

It definately uses strisslespalt!
I can probably get the recipe if it's still needed!

I'm based in Northern Ireland but a couple of years ago I have a rhizome to my uncle in Manchester, last year he's cascade hops were like small bananas and so plentiful that when I visited in November he'd left half the harvest on the bines!
He must have picked the perfect spot for them to grow!?

They certainly do in the tunnel I filled two 90 litre bins from a harvest of one plant!!!!!

Aye, I have been growing cascade for a number of years both outside and in a polytunnel and found in particular the outside grown ones don't fair as well but it's more in yield than flavour really with that variety!

Had a mosaic pale on sat and it was lovely without any of the previous strange flavours so perhaps it wasn't the hop? Maybe over hopped?

I cracked open the one I brewed based on g.w's recipe using the w labs London yeast! It was superb I put it in a pressure barrel and served it thru a beer engine( this helped make it more authentic) and captured the characteristic tight creamy head! Will be brewing this regularly I think! One thing ...
