Re: Junga!
I've not used it but is supposed to be like galena which is my favorite bittering hop but it doesn't keep much of its pungent aroma...I wish it did.... A smash brew would be the way I'd go.

Re: Lupulin Powder
There's a good pod cast on Beersmith that discusses this, apparently the idea is to make hops more available as there simply isn't going to be enough hops the way things are going.
The hops after extraction are used as a lesser AA hop...
It's interesting.

Re: Wai Iti as an Amarillo Substitute?
It's an amazing hop in its own right and I'm sure you've made a good beer with it. simcoe is also amazing but some don't like it's( to coin an American phrase ) dank character which is often a down side to the hop. Mosaic was developed to get over the problems with the simcoe flavour. its a really g...

Re: Sour beer help
I'll look into it further then. I'm looking for a clean sour not a massive lambic Farmhouse type of sour, more like biting a grapefruit. I remember my sour dough culture I built and the wild microbes in my house were foul . I've read and watched a lot on sours without considering making one, maybe I...

Sour beer help
After trying a delicious tropical fruit sour beer at the weekend it's inspired me to brew one. I've never attempted a sour beer so need help.
