It's the first time I have used this reg as only purchased it last week.
In that case I would be sending it back, or contacting the seller at least.

I realise that but as he has already tried it with water I assume (I know that’s always dangerous) he knows what post it is.

It’s worth pointing out for others wishing to build one though.

Re: Maxi cooler

Thanks I've ordered a secondary regulator. How can I keep the keg cool it's in a summer house. I though that was the idea of the maxi x Cooler? The maxi will cool it yes but if the co2 is coming out of solution before it gets to the chiller cooling it isn't going to put it back in. You will be able...

Re: Maxi cooler

I'm not sure what the gauge is telling me. Beer comes out like a full pint of froth. Once settled beer tastes flat also? It's a keg of amstel delivwred today from a brewery. It's cold tho! That's telling you how much co2 is in the bottle. You need to know how much co2 you are putting in the keg via...

Re: Beer tap connector

I’ve got a couple you can have, pm me your address and I’ll get them sent off. Don’t worry about sending me any money for postage, just chuck couple of quid in a charity box next time you see one.

Re: Brew builder hop Filter

I guess it's to slow down the run off. Make the aperture too big and you're in danger of clogging the filter. I asked the question about the top elbow to see if a threaded barb would fit. Makes no sense to pull apart the whole filter, fix the top part, it's all he needs to do. The internal fitting ...

Re: Brew builder hop Filter

Mine came with the barb seen in the Brewbuilder picture, with a barb at the tap end. So did the OP's, it was fitted to the inside not the outside though, so the wrong way around basically. Look carefully at the original picture. I have, I also have one. What is on the inside is exactly the same as ...

Are you sure it’s 3/4”? Most take a hose with 1/2” id which would mean you can use one of these: https://m.ebay.co.uk/itm/JOHN-GUEST-3-8-SPEEDFIT-PUSH-FIT-for-Beer-Cooler-Pump-Tap-Font-Home-Bar-Filter/221592988920?hash=item3397f8acf8:m:m1q5l3sRKJKGpPeSXR1hCzQ https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/2018022...
