Brew Con London - A Home Brewing Conference and Expo
Sorry Bob but I think you are a bit disingenuous there. There are plenty of us who travel from the south and like yourself encounter 4 hour journey's to get there. Other's come from the south west and probably travel further. Demig has stated he is north of Newcastle and is happy to travel further ...

Brew Con London - A Home Brewing Conference and Expo
To be fair though I live north of Newcastle and would actually find a London event easier myself. Re: Kegerator tap holes

Pilot hole right through first to give the position and then step drill out to the diameter of the shank on the metal side and the plastic side, does the job perfectly and it's amazing how useful step drills are for other jobs! Re: Jim's Northeast Brewer's Night.
What about Leo's new gaff in arch 2 in the Ouseburn? Was there in Saturday and beer was excellent, Cardinal Hybrid would get some discussion going about cloudy beers. The Inperial Choc Stout was also rather splendid. Gutted I couldn't make the brewery as it was right at scout camp pickup time and t...

This might be better for me than end of the month but I may clash with my sons scout camp pickup. Some negotiating to do with Mrs Demig!

Re: Ambiano Induction Hob.......
New Shiny 19Lt pot to be sourced. My current one is Aluminium and will not work on an Induction Hob! #-o Would it work if I put a thin disc of steel on the Hob and the Aluminium pot on the steel? WA Yes but not as well, you can buy such discs from eBay, Amazon etc. https://www.ebay.co.uk/p/?iid=281...
