I’m totally confused by the in post/ out post debate . Why can’t I cut the beer out post and fit the float to it ?

Re: Splitting beer line
Sorry I don’t quite understand. A 4 coil cooler feed 4 taps. The chilled water recirc can feed 4 fonts. If you have them in series (1 loop) the first will be the coldest, the last the warmest. I would probably pipe them up in parallel by taking the flow and return close to all 4 and spitting them i...

Re: Beer engines; keeping it fresh
I have a lot of experience with EWL 1/4 pint handpulls with cooling jackets . If connected to cooler no need to waste any beer ... even after a few days in cylinder ! I only flush on every barrel change .... years of doing it ... no problem ! ( BTW I use cornys with check valve and absolute minimum...

Retubing beer font.
Just got a new beer font (theakston) and there is a small drip behind the tap . Unwound tap to try and push the tube tighter into push fit but there is not enough tube to play with . There is plenty of tube at the bottom of the font but I cant pull it through . I’ve tried to strip it down a little ....

Re: CO2 in Somerset & Devon
I get my beer gas from a guy who lives in Weston-super-mare . You have to order it in advance and pick it up from Bleadon . I pay about 60 quid for the 5 foot high pub style bottles . I live in Mark Somerset BTW .

Re: Brewing Red Wine
TBH they are fine after a month but when I’ve opened older ones they are better . I don’t think I’ve had one more than 12 months old. Not sure they need keeping cold either .. I keep em in garage ..

Re: Brewing Red Wine
Kenridge do a cracking Cabernet Sauvignon . Did blind taste test against papa Neuf and it won. It is the wine of choice among our friends . ( the biggest compliment I received was ‘ I’d happily pay eight quid for a bottle of that ![emoji23]’)

Re: Pet bottle growler
The trick is the white gas in connect is now being used as a beer out connect and goes straight to tap . The grey beer line is going to tap .

Pet bottle growler
Just ‘discovered’ a way of making a mini growler out of pet bottles and use tap . Anyone else do this? What’s the largest pet ‘pop’ bottle ? Is it 3 litres?
