Thanks for the help guys so it's as I suspected the same as a party tap so i may as well use that. I'm looking for the that natural carbonation which looks like I can't get that from a Corni keg. Hi all ive been looking for a way to get that real ale taste you get from a keg to a hand pull. i have tried bags in boxes and things but with no great success, so i wondered about the corni method. forgive me if i am being really thick but if you carb the corni the resulting beer would be the same ...

As far as a Doom Bar recipe, you're probably close. I didn't know about the CaraPils. I have: 93.1% Pale, 6.2% Crystal, .7% Roasted Barley. I guarantee Coors aren't using a premium pale malt like Maris Otter at mass-production scales. A little CaraPils is maybe a cheat to put some body and mouthfee...

i would agree there is something not quite there much preferd the liquid yeastI never had any off flavours with the yeast I just found the beers very bland. The reason I brew in the first place is to make beers better than most of the crap beer you buy.

mmm just brewed 50l of courage directors from the gw book and fermented half with so4 and half with wlp005 and was very supprised at the difference between the yeasts, so4 left a very sweet fruity beer and may i add no off taste at all it is very drinkable, 005 was very smoth and much drier and a mu...

ok as no one knows i will do this anyway just add my vile to 3L of malt on a stir plate and ferment out for 48 hours cool and decant and hope all goes well
