Bump of an old thread...
I've been looking into a few DIPA recipes (both US and UK) and this bittering extract comes up quite a bit.
Anyone use it? Anyone know of a UK supplier that has smaller quantities that the 400g tins at simply hops?

I own it now. It was second hand but re-certified (or whatever it's called!) by them so good for 10 years.f00b4r wrote:Was that including deposit?

Re: Newcastle CO2 suppliers
I bought a 6kg bottle from this place. Think it was £65. Worth a ring to see if they have any in.

Re: Keezer/carbing
Where do I find this? Something like this might help... http://www.kegerators.com/carbonation-table.php Although I go the less technical route of setting it to around 12 psi and check every few days to see if its done :) If you want it carbed fairly fast I've set my regulator to around 40psi for th...

Re: Compact 2 vessel system
If you do decide to go for two elements, and a single 32A feed, then take a look at the Neutrick PowerCON connectors. I've linked to the 32A range, but they also do a 20A range . . . they are much smaller and neater than Commando connectors, although that does come at a price. Of course you would o...

It might be good to get the electric brewery book and get more educated on the subject it may confuse you more as american electrickery is slightly diffrent to ours There's a 240V sticky in their forum but its quite a project to get your head around if you are new to that sort of thing. I'm just do...

Aye, I saw this a couple of weeks ago. It is actually cheaper to buy one or two kegs now with all costs in.
S spear only and no personalisation though.

Ha, great, different sizes. yep,and different to the neutrik standard 19/24mm used on the majority of there panel connectors ](*,) .I use a 25mm hole punch, its a nads loose for the ins and a bit of filling needed for the outs, but saves a few quid, unless of course your fittings 100's of the buggers ...

Re: power connectors
resurrecting this old thread... Does anyone know what size hole is needed for the panel mount "powerCON TRUE1" connectors? I can't find the answer anywhere, I did see the technical drawings on the official site but they just confused me more. Trying to price up a simple control panel build and seein...

Thanks!
I didn't realise you could open them up without knacking them.
There were a couple of grains that must have made it past my bag and false bottom. Got them out and it's as good as new!
