Are your % you over all efficiency, I ever only hit 75%, but I do use precrushed ?

Did a brew day yesterday and used notty, but woke up this morning and theres no sign of life , I usually use US 05 but thought I would try this, Its only been 16 hrs ? leave it longer before pitching again ?

yeah 1/4 in 200mls warm water

Well after a 2 weeks I received my water results today, after some badgering on the phone that is, from what united utilities say and my alkalinity test says , they don’t add up, last check with my alkalinity kit was 11mg/l :roll: http://i725.photobucket.com/albums/ww253/dannychina34/8a6aaf68-dc07-4...

Ok , I have my scales , ,magnesium sulphate, calcium sulphate, Calcium Chloride, and Epsom salts, just have to wait now :D So when am ready , do I add the salts to the grain bill before mashing and when it says to the boil , do I add them to the boil or sparge water ? was looking for a video of how ...

I have 6 crusader keg and always have 4 conditioning , I purge any o2 out then carb up a couple of days before I need them , I always have one in fridge in house carbed up

OK while I wait for my water to be tested , what scales are people using to weight out such precise amounts ?
