acidulated malt? not heard of it. Please enlighten...... Americans love it because it allows them to reduce their mash pH without risking life and limb, and, well total armageddon, if you use something like sulphuric or hydrochloric acid. :roll: i used to ph correction, as i dont do water treatment...

yesterday i had a bit of free time, so i decided to brew something. :D i received the day before some hops, from the brewshop, so i brewed a best bitter with some northern brewer hops. I love EKG, usually i one of my house ales its SMASH Pale malt and EKG, around 5%, 30IBUs, fermented with S04, at the cooler side (16º/18º). In the end, i get a nice, refreshing, tasty pint!! A stout around 4% its done in 25days, you cant go wrong!

sooo, yesterday i tried this to check carbonation and because i was very curious to try it!! i want it darker, but boil off wasnt like usually is, so was one more liter in the end (i think with one liter less would be darker), but its still a pretty beer, with a ruby color if agaisnt the light. the ...

i dont what you were deciding, but would go with challenger for bitering, ekg 15mints and cascade and ekg for aroma!!!!
