Would pure sodium precarbonate would better then ? What brands have you found to be less foamy then or monster foamy

Well im using the same pump as the grainfather and a similiar length cfc so fingers crossed may even use soda crystals like i currently do

My pump is magnetically coupled so no bearings ?

Thanks everyone for their replies and thoughts. I've gone off the idea of the Aliexpress SS CFC now , I'm much more inclined to try and make my own wit some copper pipe, hose and fittings. If your water flow rate is low it would be worth getting your water board to do a flow test. There's a minimum flow rate which the board is required to provide. Can't remember what it is. It will be tested for free. If it's a problem with the supply it will be fixed for free. The flow rate here is ...

Yep as atb says its too short, id buy another pump off there in a heart beat. But some things you may save a couple of quid but wait 30 days for it to come

I will be using 20mm id rubber hose and 10mm copper pipe but dont think ill be wrapping wire the pipe mainly as i dont have a blow torch for soldering. It will ten metres in unwrapped form wort thru the top cold water thru bottom.

Yep you will need
4 x 15mm x 10mm copper reducers (toolstation)
2 x stainless steel 1/2 " equal tees
2 x stainless steel 1/2" x 20mm hose barbs
Jubilees clips and cable ties
10mm micropore copper pipe
3/4" hose pipe
Ball valve tap

Any more questions fire away im half way thru my build

Washer sizing

I was donated a false bottom and recenttly bpught a 1/2 street elbow but the elbow falls thru the centre hole. So i need a pack of stainless washers. But no idea what size to buy as stated the elbow is 1/2.
