Re: Brewdog/Cloudwater NEIPA
I've got the half barrel from Malt Miller. Finding a fridge to fit it in was a pain in the bum but now I have one it's mega. Works a treat. BrewPi controls it all.

60 Litres.
That's my normal output. I can do 40L but it's no extra effort to do 60L. I have the half barrel Chronical so can do both.

Re: Brewdog/Cloudwater NEIPA
It's an alternative base malt. Can't comment as today's my first brew with it.

Re: Brewdog/Cloudwater NEIPA
The smell from the boiler was RIDICULOUS! Exactly like the original so I'm keen to see how this plays out.

Re: Brewdog/Cloudwater NEIPA
Beersmith says 12.
I put in at flameout and steeped at boiling (no chill to 80, etc) for 20 mins so think that's about right.

Brewdog/Cloudwater NEIPA
Brewed my first NEIPA today and loved a bottle of the recent Brewdog/Couldwater collaboration so decided to use their recipe from DIY Dog as a starting point. Brewday went well and was pretty straightforward considering it only had 1 hop addition, no protofloc, etc. Simples. Mash was THICK with all ...

Re: Ullage......
Ullage has absolutely nothing to do with the headspace in a bottle and certainly nothing to do with carbonation. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ullage Indeed - it seems the word has quite different definitions depending on context - the definition in the beer world being residue in a keg while the d...

Replied to you both. Most of the brewers round here aren't massive on the forums so I can contact them outwith the site and get the ball rolling.

Re: Don't need a brew fridge for your Chronical anymore
That's where brewpi is excellent. I can set it to go down to 2c over 36hours easily. Just leave it to do its thing.

Re: Don't need a brew fridge for your Chronical anymore
I can beat 24hrs but not by much. I'd say 18 or so hours.
I have graphs from brewpi I can look back at and give you an exact number when I'm home.
