hi matt better be safe than sorry use a fine mesh bag for the pellets i use bags all the time saves a lot of mess as well , i was a great beliver in leaf but converted to pellet its a lot less fuss

let us know how this 1 turns out magnum is a great hop for bittering did a brew with magnum and citra late it was very nice you should get a nice flavour from the amarillo

hi sbond dont bother with brewing calculators now if making a american apa or ipa once you have got used to your base malt figures you can just play about with american hops i think american beers are pretty forgiving some more bitter than others or fruity dont often brew a bad 1 get stuck in there ...

dont know what hops you have sbond but if you start with 20g magnum then split your amarillo 50/50 with cascade for the other additions i think you will get a better beer but that is my opinian brewed something simular it was great will be nice however

1 bag or 2 bags cant see anything wrong with that it is still mashing the same a little more fluid absorbed by second bag but your boiler is big enough wouldnt worry about it

hi all just made a belgian blonde with picking ideas off the forum :) 21 l brew 5kg german pilsner malt 500g dark candi crystals 12g northern brewer 60m 40g styrian 30m 30g styrian 10m yeast mangrove jacks belgian m27 fermenting at 28 degrees [would it harm to put the temp up a couple more degrees ]...
