Are you going to hard wire high or make it switchable. Just wondered how noisy it might be. Plan was to wire on high only. So... turns out that L1 is low speed and L2 is high speed. Which kinda makes sense actually when you think about it...

The blank isn't removable.

Take the white blank plug out of L1 put it into L2 and then connect the,line and neutral into the remaining two connections.

Cheers Mashbag. There is a 2 switch RCD in the brewery for lights and plug sockets. Planning on connecting the fan to the sockets wiring. With a 3 amp switched fuse, I'm hoping that should suffice. Based on this thread, I switched to using a pedestal fan to push steam away from the grainfather, as I brew in a back room about 1m away from an outside door. Hey folks, Yet again, another one of my tube heaters has packed up. I find myself replacing these things too often so am on the prowl for other ideas. Have any of you gone down the bulb route?
