Re: Hose pipe ban

Want to get sorted also :D I just used the online contact and asked them if it was permissable to use an emersion cooler connected to a garden hose for home brewed beer. I didn't actually request an exemption they just gave m...

Re: The Tilt
I have 2 of them, that I bought in the US the current newer model has better range and battery life. I use them with the new Mybrewbot. Why? I have OCD buying brewing HB bits and its nothing a wine thief and hydrometer couldn't do for you except i can accelerate or decelerate gravity when I'm in a ...

Help with acetaldehyde
My last brew ( a citra smash) I kegged has a appley taste & aroma, I'm assuming I crashed it too quickly and it wasnt finished :( I bottled all the remains and cracked a bottle tonight and it doesnt have the taste. Is it because I warmed it up to carb it ? If I warm this keg up (its carb'd) can I sa...

Re: My procedure - Comment ?

I think the responses are possibly a misunderstanding or from brewers who approach brewing and beer f...

Re: Anyone used "bouncer in-line beer filter"?
Sounds to me that you are only using one vessel for the whole process. If so that's where you could make a start. Please remember that I am trying to help. If you are using hop pellets to dry hop why not change to whole hops? Plus you could use BacBrewing Springer at the first and second transfer s...

My procedure - Comment ?
After discussions on another thread I though I'd put this up here instead of continuing to derail that thread, if anyone has any comments or thoughts I would love to entertain them. I can provide additional info or photos of gear ect if it helps :) I'm always looking for ways to improve the quality ...

Re: Anyone used "bouncer in-line beer filter"?
Handy bit of kit for those that dry hop in the keg. I do wonder why, given the designed purpose of these, that they haven't got John Guest push connectors in order to take standard beer line. Perhaps they are a re-purposed fuel/water filter etc, and there is an alternative out there without the Hom...

Re: Anyone used "bouncer in-line beer filter"?
Don't be fooled by the phrase "top fermenting yeast" take a look at this. Note how much yeast sits on the bottom of the carboy at the beginning. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xm33934qM4E Interesting, might pitch in the morning on my next then after dumping the trub and see if its similar to what ...
