this is what i ended up doing, using up some left over grains 4.5kg pilsner 1.0 MO 300g crystal 300g wheat 300g cara 100g black 30g challenger 60 mins 20g " 15 " 30g " 5 " 20 " FO pitched onto notts yeast cake og1058 fg 1011 first taste from fv is pretty good, not a ruby mild, more a heavy bitter

yeah I'm just thinking that as summer approaches Ill be mostly brewing pale ales, just wanted something a bit darker to keep for later, prob about 5.5 to 6.0 abv
