Hmmm. I just use 15mm plastic push fit connectors. I find these real easy and in comparison cheap to use.

In fact most my brewery redesign uses these.

Push on over 15mm pipe. Plastic or copper. And tighten the end hand tight. Job done

Sort of like John guest fittings.
