I have one I'm looking to shift if anyone's interested??
Bought from Rob a couple of months back and used twice. Works perfectly but I don't brew enough to justify having it sat here.
£75 and I'll ship it for nowt.

Re: ipa recipe needed
Forget the crystal, cara and spec b. Throw the rest in.
Use 007 yeast.
Done.

Re: Hop rocket
Won't work. Reason is.....
To bottle carbonated beer from a gun you need low pressure. To get the beer through the rocket you need relatively high pressure.
Foam will occur.
Lots of foam.

Re: advice wanted first time repitching
Top cropping is the best way to get clean and viable yeast.
That assumes your sanitisation is spot on.
You can harvest yeast indefinitely this way.

Re: advice wanted first time repitching
It's ok for a few days left chilled.
It'll be the quickest ferment you've ever had. Get ready to keg at the weekend!

Re: advice wanted first time repitching
Should have just pitched it without the sugar. Would have been fine.
In your situation I'd pitch the lot.

How long and what diameter are your beer lines?
Also, the type of glass used will alter appearance massively. Make sure you get one with nucleation points on the bottom.

Re: Suitable fridge for a large SS Chronical
If it's spread evenly it'll not be much on each leg.
Mines fine. It's a neat fit in the fridge but very solid.

Re: Suitable fridge for a large SS Chronical
I have this fermenter and it fits in a larder fridge. I created a similar thing to Aleman. Plank of wood supported on posts for front legs. Back legs sits on the compressor housing.
Very secure. Been using for a year without issue. About 20 batches have been through it.
