you could get hop oil for bittering other than that i think it would be a bit of hit or miss sort of thing boiling hops in water or with some dme added and have boil it down and add it at bottling, i think if i was to boil hops for an hr, i'd cool and add to fv/bucket and leave a few more days and t...

what sort of gas bottle is it, ie from who. as said before thats a safety thing which pub gas botts don't have afaik you may have to fashion something to push on it when you screw on the reg . like a cone with a few holes. edit; i think its a residue pressure valve, ie if the main valve is left open...

did the suggestions work ?

are you using a red bottle or a blue bottle ...propane or butane.

btw....spiders like to make there home and that can slightly block the air/gas intake

long answer, I dry all my home grown hops, it suits my needs...but what a pain.. dying and making sure there dry the strig holds more moisture. then it redistributes thus making the hops more moist. vac packing is good as it reduces the size of the packet. but if its an unknown I would not do to muc...
