Brewed it on little kit and it was spot on, used S04 in the end.
Mate brewed it on his bigger kit and has simply flown over the bars

Planning a simple easy drinking all English pale ale.. For 70 litres 12.5 kg of pale malt 1kg of torrified wheat Mash 60 mins at 66degrees Hops 75gms EKG 5.8AA 60 mins 60gms EKG 5.8AA 10 mins 100gms EKG 5.8AA 5 mins Steep at 80 degrees 20 mins Ferment at 19 degrees with US05 Aiming for OG 1041 FG 10...

My Chinook has broken ground, must be nearly 10 shoots coming up. Looks mighty compared to its first year last year That's great news! Here's hoping for a big crop. It's on chill now having dropped from 1040 to 1007..For the record..M44 says it's a top fermenting strain...it's not it bubbles just like SO4.. finnings going in and shoving into kegs

I read somewhere that M44 West Coast yeast is a slow starter..I pitched and within 3 hours I had signs of fermentation and its chugging along like a good un now...smells devine

Decided to do my own version of Darkstar hophead.

For 75 litres

12.5kg low colour Maris Otter
1.25kg Wheat Malt

Mash 66degrees for 60 mins

Hops

35gms Cascade 7.6aa for 60 mins
100gms Cascade 7.6aa for 15 mins
100gms Cascade 7.6aa for 5 mins

20 mins steep

You could do worse than pale malt and 7% wheat malt to say 4.5%ABV. .
Then bittered with Challenger and finished with EKG..along the lines of Hopback Summer Lightning
