I just saw the other post and facebook link.
Seems they posted friday night that they will be closed until further notice.
I was in there on thursday. All appeared as normal, except that John was there, I hadnt seen him in a couple of years.
Thats a shame, I enjoyed shopping there.

Re: SS Brewtech Brewmaster edition heating ideas
I have mine sat in a Hotpoint iced diamond fridge, with a 60w tube heater and an Inkbird controller.
Very simple set up. Works great. Even to crash chill.

Re: Jim's Northeast Brewer's Night.
I've just booked an EasyHotel. Its about 30 foot from the pub, should be able to manage that, its downhill too.
Thought it wise as I'm bound to miss the last bus home (again).

Upto 20% gave plenty of body and I couldn’t taste the wheat. At 33% it was a bit to wheaty for my tastes. I used it in everyt...

Re: An incredibly boring beer
Eric, I bet you know this - before kegs came on the scene was late hopping common*, or is it more a 'real ale revival' phenomenon. * I know dry hopping of fine ales was done, but I'm talking about 15 minute and flame out hops. I'm a bit older than Eric and cannot remember BK (before keg) They certa...
