(pdtnc said the white tasted like piss so thought I would add a bit more flavour and see what happens) Not in the literal sense, the white was just too bitter for my liking, and I'm a Red wine fan rather than a white... Though i hear Piss can be applied to the skin for a good complexion and apparen...

if its any help, My Sainsburys red grape wine tastes pretty good, and is plenty strong enough... The White grape on the other hand tastes like piss and could take some maturing. The red grape is well worth doing again though, its nice to add a bit of fresh grape juice to your glass too for the sweet...

I made it using a Geordie Beer Kit enhancer instead of sugar (£5 well spent) and I dry hopped it with 15g of Fuggles in the fermenter for a couple of days after the bubbling had stopped and then another 15g in the keg. I guess this means its OK to Dry-hop the brew after fermentation but before bot...

yep bit of a guilty pleasure pdtnc. i think its the lager lout in us (can i still say that being a ale brewer and drinker now) and just think it is different from lager. but i'm sure Coopers will be what i'm after. as i say i'll try anything once apart from incest and voting tory! politics and beer...

So i presume the SO² from the Sodium Metabisulphate does something to the Chloromines etc that let them gas off with it??
