IPA wrote: It's this simple. Brewers who can brew produce attractive bright beer. Those who cannot brew produce cloudy crap and justify it by saying that ls what they intended to make.

Re: No boil challenge

So, a 90 min boil will produce a better head? Not heard that before.

Re: overnight no-chill brewdays

What efficiency do you get with an overnight mash?

I use no chill without issue, but mashing overnight sounds intriguing.

Just changing brewing method

Talk us through the decision making on why the MT doesn't sit flat. Not seen that before. Center drain, was very common 10 years ago to eliminate dead space when 3V systems were popular. I would never go back to one personally on a homebrew scale. I sold mine. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk Pro

Or you could use bottles…

Cans will never take off, there are no need for them in home brew IMO. Far too many cons, only 1 questionable pro.

Grainfather grain mill

A mill makes sense for me, fine tune your crush for maximum efficiency, and buy malt by the 25kg sack for 19 quid from the local micro.

I can understand using liquid for the more exotic strains, but the bogo WPL001, you can just throw in a pack of M44 at 3 squid a shot.

Do you collect and reuse?

I’ve just bought Wyeast 1469 Yorkshire for a Landlord clone at 7.49.
