That's all I had left lol What do you guys think?? I'm still taking steps of the small kind so be gentle p...

New AG in MT... Hoppage question
Was in need of a new AG brew so decided to use up the remaining MO I had in the sack... Decided on the following 6.5 kg MO 0.5 kg Caramalt 0.2 kg Crystal (around 120 I think) 0.2 kg Torrified Wheat Beer Engine has it coming out at 7.8% ABV (nice!!!) for a 21 ltr brew (Cornie plus a bottle or 2) Issu...

Re: Time to build a big corny keg
Wouldn't bother with the drilling mate.... You've got an ideal opportunity to minimise the work by just cutting the hole for the dismembered cornie, weld the top into place and then just extend the dip tube.... A bit of reinforced hose same ID as the dip tube OD will be ok I guess.... Think it over,...

Re: Time to build a big corny keg
Mmmm possibly very interesting project.
How are you planning to adapt the large keg?? Cut the top off the cornie, create a hole in the keg and then weld the top from the cornie into the space cut in the keg?? Drill keg and bolt posts into keg top for gas in and product out ?? Something like that??

Re: Stainless thermobox
Thanks Dave.... Problem, the increased cost of the 70ltr is not viable as I'd want to replace the tap and add a bulkhead fitting as soon as I'd be able to source one and the tap is a side mounted fitting. I want to fit a base fitted drain but thanks for that input

Re: Stainless thermobox
Hi again all.... Cost of item is inclusive of delivery
Conversion ??? You mean currency conversion or cost of converting the Thermopot??
Not sure about the costs of the rest of the hardware required, I need to go through some past posts to check out stuff and source the items.

Re: Corny keg set up
Either keep your eyes open on evilBay or go straight to Norm. He used to do a pair of "budget kegs" for £70 as I recall..... included a pair of disconnects, a metre of beer and gas line too.... Discos are worth at least £20 a pair, beer/gas line around £2/3 for both. You'll need a regulator and a ga...
