Punk IPA DIY Dog Recipe Pack
I've just bottled my brew from a Punk IPA DIY Dog Recipe Pack from Brew UK. It was part financed by a gift card that I had for my birthday, I wouldn't usually spend that much on one brew and have never brewed a beer with 6 different hops before. I was a little down on both OG and final bottling volu...

Re: Excess Barrel Pressure?
A length of silicon tubing attached to the tap and long enough to reach the bottom of your pint glass can help reduce foaming. Still have to pour fairly gently and keep the tube on the bottom of the glass till poured, but does help in my experience. Not sure if it would work with a sparkler tap tho...

Re: Using ferm. fridge for salami?
I've thought about using my fermentation fridge for curing meats and for cheeses. The biggest issue for me is working out how to control relative humidity. I'm sure cleaning and sanitising would deal with any risk of cross contamination

Re: Sharing homebrew with other brewers in this community?
Thanks WalesAles, Thank god I've found one person on this thread without a stick up their ass and a real passion for British Real Ales! Send me an email at wrightpc87@outlook.com my friend and we'll go from there ☺ I resent that remark. Just because I have little interest in sending you my beer to ...

Re: Total Failure!!! Where did I go wrong?........
Hello Everyone, Tried BIAB again 2wks ago, Total Failure. Bass recipe from GW book. Ingredients by `The Malt Miller`. Followed `PhilB`s` BIAB method to the letter. Just as the brew came to the boil, my induction heater failed, E7 showing on readout, (error 7). Troubleshooting says it`s knackered, r...

Ah it is there it’s just in the index one Alt bier slips to the following page so it’s easy to overlook! Yes, same here. Now it's been pointed out I can see i...

Re: Your favourite Graham Wheeler recipe...
So many to choose from but I had a beer made by another homebrewer recently from the European book. Nussdorf St Thomas, absolutely sublime beer. It was made by someone who is an excellent brewer anyway but it was so good! From a brief conversation with Graham I know he thought this book was under a...

Re: Your favourite Graham Wheeler recipe...
I was just looking for a brewing book to help me delve into British brews, after spending the last year working on my Hefeweis recipe, and stumbled across this thread. Which of the GW books would all of you recommend as I am wanting to start with milds and the more malty brews? This seemed like a g...

Wyeast
How do you pronounce 'Wyeast'? Is it 'double you yeast' or what?
I've only bought it online and read the word, I don't think I have ever had to say it out load but it occurred to me today that I wouldn't know how to.
