Re: Pressurised growlers and 5l mini kegs

The pressure rating seems to vary enormously between different suppliers so if you intend to force carbonate in them I would enquire beforehand about their rating.

I believe that what Jocky is referring to is specific to the WLP565 strain and not a general comment on Saison yeasts, although I may be corrected.

Re: Silicone Corny Keg O-Rings

Something that was mentioned by an Aussie seller of corny kegs was that, due to the oxygen permeability of silicon, you may want to be wary of aging beers in those kegs that have had silicone replacement o rings for the lids, for those it might be better to keep hold of nitrile o rings and use them...

Re: VWP instead of oxyclean

You might have hit the nail on the head :) Head retention is something i have never got right. I use torrified wheat for head retention but i cannot say i can see a difference. I will stop cleaning my FV with washing up liquid and i will try pbw and see if that makes a difference. I had poor head r...

Re: marks 2 keg washer

Very tempted to grab one of these. I was going to build one but there isn't a huge markup compared to the parts.
I wonder if 4.5L demijohns would fit on (maybe with a spacer)?

Re: BM20 Table/Stand Suggestions

They are excellent tables for BBQ's etc but I don't know how they would cope with any amount of direct heat.

A 60x60 cm stainless catering table will dissemble really easily, although you would need another surface for bits and pieces.

Re: Triple Gas Regulator?

3/16 line makes a huge difference and the are a couple of ways to do it but I prefer the stem reducers as you then don't need 3/8 beer line. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20180407/e6cfab3cc86d423fc9323fe2d2b5b10d.jpg https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20180407/fb8e9befbed8bb90029c352227547533.jpg

Re: Triple Gas Regulator?

Beware using JG splitters as they don't usually have any check valves to prevent backflow of beer or gas. You can get away with it if you are careful but you are probably better getting a manifold, which will also allow you to shut off individual kegs.

Yes they are robust and give a three different psi output as does the original board, bu seriously more industrial grown up secondary's!!!!! dont quite follow, but one 'feature' of the 3x inline primary type i have that is common with the old welders reg i used before, is that fine tuning to a low ...
