Re: Grain mill - wow!
More consistency was my main aim - my og was all over the place with no changes to any process for my last 10 brews. I tried to account for this by progressively lowering my brew house efficiency, but it still wasn't following a pattern. I think my precrushed grain was just getting staler over time ...

Grain mill - wow!
Hi all, I got a bulldog mill for Christmas from my lovely wife and had the opportunity to brew today. Wow what a difference! After a spate of low efficiency brews around 65 to 70 % I got 89% brewhouse efficiency!! That's the highest I've ever had and although I'm not an efficiency chaser I have to s...

Re: Best Quality BIAB bags
Hi Chris, have you considered doing a square bag for an igloo cube cooler? I'd be interested!

Re: Harvesting yeast
Will the method work if you draw a sample from the fermenter tap? I thought the magic happened because you took an amount from the krausen?

Re: Purchasing a suitable biab bag
Yes, just wondering if anyone had seen a custom job out there, i don't want excess material to wick up the wort and cause a mess. My cooler is a cube so there would be excess.

Re: Purchasing a suitable biab bag
Does anyone know of a supplier of square bags to fit coolers? I use a modified igloo cube cooler as my mash tun and a bag for it would make clean up easier.

Re: Multiple fermentation chamber controller
I read the first part of the enormous thread on homebrew talk to get an esp8266 running a BrewPi variant but that was a while ago, looks like things have got much cooler since then!

If you've managed a nice clean and crisp brew it can take it.

Re: Crossmyloof - too good to be true?
we’re in the process of splitting up the company between the brewing (not called Crossmyloof) and supplies business. So these are early days and it's all a bit up in the air at the moment :S Hi Stephen, it may be worth reviewing the webpage link on your facebook's contacts/about panel. I don't know...
