Jim's Northeast Brewer's Night.
I can't drink at the moment but probably can in April all being well so sometime then would be good for me.
But Monday's are a good day for me as well.

Re: Jim's Northeast Brewer's Night.
Chap at the split chimp says he'll reserve the upstairs for us as long as it's not Friday or Saturday. Cheap , next to the station, 3 cask beers and loads of bottles what do people think?

Re: Jim's Northeast Brewer's Night.
Bodega is very good also a great venue. Beers were excellent when I was last in there. Brandling would definitely have the space and they do a lovely burger in there as well:) Think it depends on those coming from further afar but looking good for this happening

Re: Jim's Northeast Brewer's Night.
No idea I've never made it to one, normally in Sunderland and it's a pain from Morpeth. F00b4r and I had a few beers in the split chimp and others a months or so back and talked home brew, it was fun and we brewed 8 beers together since. Friday nights aren't so good for me prefer Saturday but that s...

Re: Jim's Northeast Brewer's Night.
Split chimp very good venue I'm up for it and close to the station for the Sunderland chaps. Good car park in the Stephenson quarter right next to it if anyone is driving. Reckon the chap in the split chimp might reserve the top for us if we ask.

JBK Brewalong #2 Feb 2016
Nope f00b4r and I brewed it early last week but not uploaded details yet. Tasted lovely from the sample jar! We brewed the esb as well. Details to follow, it's late as I'm under the weather, not even allowed to drink beer at the moment

PECO Boiler
Well said f00b4r my answer was a little brief;) having brewed using the peco just the other day I can also add that it's 1cm per litre measuring down from the top on my peco. This might be helpful, measurement from the top:
20l 14.4cm
22l 12.4cm
24l 10.4cm
26l 8.4cm
28l 6.4cm

Re: PECO Boiler
It's an even taper so you can measure the diameter half way up and use that and the height and you should be good.

Re: PBW Group Buy?
If kept dry it should last for ages probably why it has no date on the tub. If this gets off the ground I was planning to ask Jocky if I can pick this up as I travel around so easy for me. I'm in Morpeth so could pick yours up and drop it off for you saving on the postage, NE20 is around Ponteland I...
