Re: A Warning to anybody thinking of purchasing these !
I got 3 also a bit scuffed but with a quick clean and new seals they will do the job nicely. I am well chuffed with mine, it's a cracking price and the kegs are not on show anyway.

Re: Challenger as a single variety hop?
Love Bluebird, looks like I need some Challenger! Actually what I need is to finish installing Mrs Demig's new kitchen so I can get a brew on, can't even get to my beer fridge at the moment as IKEA boxes are in the way

Re: Co2 in keg
Depends on how you prime but for me I find I have to add co2 about two thirds of the way down the keg. If you hear a glug of air going back through the tap when dispensing then definitely add co2 to pressure it and prevent this as it's not good for the beer, if you are drinking it very quickly that ...

I'd fancy coming along if one is going along although I am very new to all this. Sunderland is a bit of a pain from Morpeth but I'm sure it can be done

Well I've not got round to shooting the colon yet but just tried the Stout for the first time and I have to say it's bloody gorgeous! Mrs Demig is a massive fan as well and now approves of homebrew :) Ditch you are now a legend in our house[emoji3] This stuff slips down dangerously easily. Cheers De...
