I used the large strainer sold in ikea. I'm sure someone posted that aldi also had them on sale

A few, hop teas, steeped grains to add, used brew enhancer or dme. Your idea looks good.

Cheers Dads, will look into that idea, never had a boil up with the buffalo but it did start with the grainfather, I will put the lid on later next time. the boil was fine with the lid on though and i started with 28L

I tried tried that but didn't work well enough. I have got a bend in the pipe as a drip trap. Not noticed any effects on 10 brews with the extract pipe.
