Thanx Eric.It tastes similar to Allendale Wolf iff you`ve ever had it and it actualy clears pretty good with chitosan finings.

Hello Suffolkbrewer.IMO you need to add 4 or 5 campden tablets to 20l of untreated tap water.
I`m not saying it will get rid of your unwanted caramel taste but it will help with other off flavours.

Mainly from the fields at the back of my house,theres plenty of blackthorn.
With the dry hot summer it may not be a good yield this year so fingers crossed.
