bottled, 500ml ,fg 1,008, colour brown reddish, taste similar doombar,primed 1/2 teaspoon white sugar in each, so i will leave 14 days then start to enjoy

do i need more demerara or is it enough to hit target Depends how much you're making and how strong you want it to be! With the quantities of malt and sugar you're using you'll get 23 litres of wort at about 1.036 original gravity. It'll ferment out completely and give you a beer of about 4.6% alco...

bottled the heavy 2nd brew , tastes very much like harveys doombar, came in at 1.008 primed white sugar 1/2 tea spoon to 500ml bottles, colour a deep brown slightly reddish, so onto 3rd brew

hi, this is next,Danstar BELLE SAISON yeast, 1.5 kilo muntons dark extract, 1 kilo demerara, hops 50 gr warrior,, 100 gram perle hops, 25 gr juniper berries , then dry hop 50 gr perle ops,, hope for German , Belgish style beer with head and dark red colour any thought advise welcome, cheers

hi all bottling today will prime with half tea spoon sugar in 500 ml , have ordered new hops ,yeast and malt extract , also going to add juniper berries to fermenter with hops, bit of disagreement this end wife wants IPA but i will add all with hope i get a dry hop flavour , will post on here as to ...

I'm saying that much brown sugar and treacle will give you a sweet tasting beer no matter what yeast you use. At 1.010 it is done.

I've used that høg norsk yeast twice now and neither went below 1.012 so my guess is you're probably done with fermenting. Sent from my SM-G973F using Tapatalk thanks ,i am dry hopping to try balance sweetness, still bubbling every 30 mins or so ,what yeast do you use wth an IPA cheers and thanks

make sure your glass is clean. A perfectly clean glass will result in a bubble free liquid,dont you watch QI? If you want a head on your pint use a syringe to suck up some of the beer and slowly squirt it back into the glass. thanks for advise, i watch albert tacklock and ena sharples, thats enough...
