They are all SS316 and think this looks like some issue where tube welded to base

Ok, I guess they are slightly different fitting to AHB dials

Presumably PTFE also required in the technique above as don't see what would stop a potential small drip leak by fluid spiralling round the thread. May get away without, but think it would be a bit hit and miss without the thread sealed
