Re: 70% off top end stainless
Probably been bought as a complete lot by a homebrew company. Might see a load of ‘reconditioned’ fermenters for sale soon

Re: Cannular Canning Machine
Ordered a couple hundred of the B64 cans that Brewkegtap sell with the machine- more expensive but when you factor in the deal and free shipping it made sense.
At some stage I’ll look into buying some cheaper cans, maybe in bulk

Cannular Canning Machine
Well my machine was just as painful to set up as Barneey’s I’m afraid. But I got there in the end. Whilst I had the cover off I took the liberty to remove the rollers and oil the bearings. Also applied some copper grease to the threads in the hope that for future adjustments it makes it easier (one ...

Re: Cannular Canning Machine
Well couldn’t resist and mine arrived last week https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20200105/58191076a1349b2a6428cf3e5bbcb4c7.jpg Such a well made piece of kit. I ordered mine from Brewkegtap who have a good offer on. The machine came with an extra die to fit the more common 202 lids. I’ve not set it u...

First Attempt at adjusting Water Profile
Just be careful with the magnesium (Epsom addition). It will increase the bitterness although at 20ppm you should be okay with a highly hopped beer.
Gypsum will add calcium and sulfate and you can’t really add too much calcium to your water if that makes sense

Re: Glueing Silicone together
Always wondered how to join silicone. I tried with superglue once and let’s just say that resulted in me swearing at it repeatedly! Thanks for sharing this one. Silly question but is the glue food safe once it’s gone off?

I’ve used them in the primary- they sink to the bottom so no need to worry about muslin bags ect

That’s amazing. My inkbird PID arrived in the week. I was just going to keep it simple but this has inspired me to look at what I can add to the build!

Re: Cannular Canning Machine
I’m looking at buying one in the new year. Great video. I’m leaning towards the Angel homebrew machine as they’ve modified it to take the more readily available cheaper cans- that does add on another £100+ though sadly

Re: Proven Pilsner Recipe Please
Water treatment will go a long way. Everything is on show in a lager flavour wise. No hiding behind big hop additions.
