Re: 10 Litre Recipes

Put the recipe into brewmate with the settings set to weight. Change it to percentage and then change the brew length from 23l to 10l.

Alternatively you could just take any 23l recipe and multiply everything by 0.434.

Re: mangrove jack M27 Belgian

Hi, I did a quad with the m27, mashed at 65c with it, it went from 1086 to 1008 in 3 weeks. I had planned to add sugar during fermentation but didn't as it attenuated so well. I started fermentation at 20c and gradually raised it to 28c. Why do you want it to be 14.5%? Most quads are about 10%, alth...

Maidstone Brewers XMAS Meet 2PM 27 December 2017

Hi,

Our monthly Maidstone Brewers meets are normally in the evening but for the December one we get to have a daytime special.

We will be in the downstairs snug at Ye Olde Thirsty Pig in Maidstone from 2PM.

Great discussions with friendly brewers and lots of tasty homebrewed beer :D

My grain sits in the garage and it didn't hurt my brews having the grain make it through last winter

Re: Decent Recipe Book All Grain recommendation please

Jamils classic brewing styles (its aimed at extract brewing but does include all grain adaptions of all the recipes)
And
Gordon strongs modern homebrew recipes
Beyond that I would recommend
Radical brewing (not dedicated recipe book, but has plenty in it.)

Just go ahead and do it. That's what I did, most of my attendees are not on a beer forum.
