Fermenting fridge/ kegerator

My fermentation fridge has died. It is currently a free standing large one about 5, high and has space for two buckets. Its over kill for my needs as I dont brew enough. However the under counter fridges look a bit tight for a 30l bucket. I want to use it for fermentation and serving with a tap in t...

Re: Using Elderflower

If your using fresh flowers watch out for the ones that smell like a cats urinated on them. You think you’ve found the best tree then it smells (and tastes) god awful.

Re: Malty beer help

I wonder if it is your perception that has changed now that your pallet has more experience?

Maybe...

Re: Advice Please

And another thing...

If you only have cookers and eaters and the acid is huge. Say above 1% total acid then wild ferment, bottle then leave for a year. Time will drop the acid if you have the patience!

Re: Advice Please

Net curtain works best for a rack and cloth design where you build it up in layers. Its more efficient than a basket press for apples rather than soft fruit andless likely to tear as all ready noted. With some sort of board ( I use hdpe chopping board material) between the layers it works a treat Bu...

Cooling system

Hello all, I am looking to keep an insulated area cool for storing beverages in the warm weather. It’s about 2 cubic meters and well insulated and I am trying to work out what would be the most efficient way to do this. Space is at a premium so using an old fridge is not an option and whatever I use...

Re: Pale ale, with Elderflower

An alternative is a blast from a camden tablet if you are going to dry hop it, soak in a little beer with half a tablet for 24 hours before adding it to the bulk.

I agree a little goes a long long way especially fresh flowers
good luck
