Toasted 2-row pale malt

Can anyone help me got a recipe for spitfire ale which has toasted 2-row pale malt does anyone know where I can get it online or an equivalent

You have a couple choices actually, equivalents would be Biscuit or American Victory. Or you could just take some pale malt and toast it yourself. Just place the malt on a cookie sheet and then into the oven at approx. 150ºC (300ºF) for 15-30 mins. I would check the malt starting at 15 mins, do this by taking a few kernels of malt from the cookie sheet and cutting them and checking the color. You just want something that is just noticably darker than malt not toasted. Thats about all that you would need to do.

Another alternative is amber malt which is quite easy to come by here. Amber & Biscuit taste very similar in my experience, I.E., 'biscuity'

You shouldn't have any bother finding an online shop that sells these but if you do let us know.

I'm not entirely sure about this, but I think if you're toasting your malt at home it must be done whole, which would require you to have your own grain mill.

Yeah seen amber malt on a quite lot of sites

Just looked at the recipe again and it asks for amber malt as well and can't seem to find anywhere that does Biscuit or American Victory.
would try toasting my own pale malt but as mysterio say's I'd have to crush them myself which have no means of doing.

I have toasted crushed malt with satisfactory results.
