Caragold

I've never used Caragold before but thought I would give it a try, I'm looking to make a pale summer ale with it, what sort of % of the grist should I be using? do any commercial breweries use Caragold? if so, has anybody got any clone recipes?

I can't answer your questions but if you search for caragold in the forum then it throws up 3 pages of references to it which shouldn't be too bad to filter out the info you need. Looking at the results several people seem to have included it in recipes

e.g. viewtopic.php?f=10&t=30346

Good luck!

Jim

Edit: Here is a link to a commercially brewed beer that includes caragold: Mad Goose. It gives the ingredients including hops - might be worth seeing if anyone here has tried a clone......
